Psalm 91:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
You will not be afraid of the terror of night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
I did a study on the above passage and there were a lot of different explanations as to what the terror and arrow was.
There are many different forms of weapons that can be used against us - physical or spiritual. Whatever form it takes, it will not prosper against God's people. I have shared a song here I hope it will minister to you.
"Do not be afraid"
God knows about our daily battles and struggles and he knows it is a normal response to feel fear. That is why he gives us the same instruction again and again - "Do not be afraid". We may not ever understand why we have to face these situations while here on this earth, but what we know is we live on an earth which has the evident consequences of sin - degradation, decay and so much more. Perhaps God wants to prove our hearts - if we can endure through these trials and still choose God above all else we will be for all eternity with God. There will be no more rebellion in heaven, because we have already chosen - above all else to worship and glorify God.
I understand even as I may face my own trials what it is like to feel fear at times -
when we may feel alone or the symptoms of disease loom so large or we have troubles with our family members. We in this season may feel fear when all that seems to be familiar seems to be crumbling around us. We may even feel fear when confronted with the giant of COVID 19 affecting our income, living or even the thought of loosing loved ones.
We have got to trust God. He is faithful.
He has delivered his people when ever they faced the most trying of circumstances, we see examples all over his word.
He is certainly the almighty, all powerful God who rules and reigns in victory, who works out all things for his glory and makes them beautiful in his time
Ask God to give you the assurance you need and also for his peace to rule and reign in your heart and mind.
Put all hope in HIM, he will not disappoint you
Walk Good in Christ my friends till we meet again
