Psalm 91:2
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
Who can we put our trust in?Only God he will never disappoint us.Look back at all those bad things that happened, didn't he bring us out. He delivered us and in his time he turned that thing around for his glory. Won't he do it for us this time.He is a faithful God and he is unchanging.
Now I remember God ministering to me in a certain season of my life on trust. When I was a young Christian, I used to believe that God would solve all my problems quickly,
I never understood God's timing. He certainly taught me some valuable lessons on waiting and growing in patience. So I can now encourage you while you wait and tell you that God will not change some circumstances with the wave of a wand. But he will cause you to walk through into VICTORY. He is the God of the mountain and he is the same God in the valley. Abbah Father, I just ask you right now to grant us your grace and peace as we wait. Amen.
I will share you some verses on trust and use two stories to indicate how important it is to trust God.
We know the story of the three Hebrew boys as outlined in Daniel 3. Now here are some words spoken by the King after they came out of the fire.
DANIEL 3:28
Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who believed in, trusted in, and relied on Him!
God rescued them because they trusted him
We also know the story of Daniel in the lions’ den outlined in Daniel 6
Here is the Kings response after God protected Daniel and kept him though surrounded by lions
Daniel 6:23
Then the king was greatly pleased and ordered that Daniel be taken out of the den. So Daniel was taken out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in and relied on and trusted in his God.
God rescued Daniel because he trusted him.
Trusting God is a “by product" of having faith in God.
Let's trust God more than ever now.
Here are just a few more scripture verses:
Proverbs 3:5 ESV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Psalm 9:10 ESV
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you
THIS ONE WE SHOULD WRITE ON OUR HEARTS IN THIS SEASON AS WE FACE THE COVID 19
Psalm 112:7 ESV
6 For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered forever.
7 He is not afraid of bad news;
his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.
Trust God and Live my friends
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
