As I faced a situation this week, I wrestled with worry, anxiety and fear.
All my experiences though build testimonies and messages because God will be glorified in every single moment of my life, that is my mindset.
So they have a system here in England, we must prove our car to be road worthy annually. It's called an MOT test.They have given us a waver until October for doing this test because of the COVID19. Well I decided I wouldn't wait until October, because I like my vehicle to be road worthy and to service it annually.
Well the car failed the test for 2 simple things. The issues did not prevent driving though because they were minor.
Well I got one issue fixed quickly, paid double what I thought I would and THEN!
The simple matter of why the fog light kept coming on too whenever I stepped on the brake light seemed magnanimous. The quotation to fix, was almost £300.00
I knew it didn't have to cost so much. I wrestled with worry and anxiety, called here, called there, went here and there.
Well FINALLY, WHEN I SETTLED DOWN PRAYED AND LISTENED TO GOD. He gave me the solution that costed me no more than £50.00.
I am really thanking God once again for his faithfulness
So here is the message from that experience:
It is normal and natural to wrestle with worry, anxiety and fear when faced with unfamiliar situations eg : Covid 19 and other.
But these emotions cause no resolution in fact they will hide God's answer because we are moving out in our flesh and God will not move until we surrender. When we surrender we realize God had the answer for us all along and he was waiting for us to just come to him.
Let us put aside the wrestling, the worry, the anxiety, the fear and ask God to give us the daily grace we need. Ask him to reign in our emotions and thoughts when faced with giants, so that we can continue in HIS PEACE.
We've proved God time and time again, he always comes through right on time.
Let us rest in him daily for he IS faithful!
Trust him, he is coming through for us no matter what we may face today.
He is bigger than problems, giants, troubles.
Trust him!
