Good morning friends
I want to remind you that one primary characteristic that our Father has is he gives. He gives good gifts. There are so many scripture verses about God giving unto us.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
Psalm 103
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's
The verses below are what I will focus on Primarily today
Luke 11:9 - 13
9 “So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who [h]keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. 11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”
The primary gift we need now is the gift of the Holy Spirit. We need God's power in these particular times that we live.
The power to witness effectively, the power to hone out the things of the Spirit that are ours in this particular season. The power to be victorious in all our daily battles, the power to overcome in all. The power to manifest the very essence and character of this allmighty allpowerful creator of heaven and earth. That is actually how we will prove God to this generation.
Let us ask God and continue to ask him to fill us daily. When one is filled with the Holy Spirit one's life is totally absolutely changed as one no longer lives with a view centred on oneself, our desires and needs. One will live with a passion for the things God is passionate about - the lost and dying, the naked and the hungry both naturally and spiritually
Ask God and he will give you good gifts, not gifts for selfish gain but for the good of all mankind. He will enable and empower you to bless many.
Thank you Good Father
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
