Scripture for the day: Mark 10:48*
[48]“Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him.But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
MESSAGE FORTHEDAY : stop investing your time and energy in everything along the way to greatness.* Major on the major, focus on what's more important. From our passage, Jesus was passing by and blind Barthemeus cried out for his mercy but the people around rebuked him, the bible says he shouted the more, Son of David, have mercy on me. * If you reply every critic and hater that attacks you, you may miss the opportunities around you.* Rather than answer those who yelled at him, he focused on calling Jesus who could help him. *Don't invest your energy in anything that cannot bring change to your life.* Many of us are focusing on the wrong things and the wrong people. Wasting your time with critics and those trying to discourage you is destroying your life and destiny. *You cannot explain every action, you have to let your results do the explanation. Just keep your focus on producing results not justifying your sacrifices._* When Blind Barthemeus finally got the attention of Jesus, it was the same people shutting him up who were sent to call him. *If you focus on your haters, they will make you a hater.*
*Focus on finding the solution not defending the mistakes you have made. Focus on those encouraging you not those discouraging you.* When David was asking what will be done to anyone that kills Goliath, his brother was the first discouragement but scriptures says he left that place to another place and inquired. Sometimes, even friends and family may not believe in you, if you are the only encouragement you have, focus on that. People who should help Blind Barthemeus shout louder were instead shouting at him. *That people are around you doesn't mean helpers are around you, pray for destiny helpers.* None of those around him had compassion enough to help him get closer or shout louder, instead they shouted at him to keep quiet but he refused to be distracted and shouted louder. *Beloved, motivate yourself, push yourself, you won't always find the help of men, be the help you need.* Be the inspiration you need. *Focus on what's more important, focus on producing results, ignore the insults. Only results can silence insults.* Keep receiving the insults but make sure you're walking towards producing results. Like Hannah, do not reply Peninah, don't cry in her presence, take the tears and go into the temple, if you must cry, cry before God in prayers.
