Jeremiah 29
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[b] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.
Do you want more of God?
Do you want to know him in a deep intimate way, not just know off him?
Do you want to experience the healing miraculous breathtaking flow of God's love?
Then seek him with such desperation.
The psalmist says "As the deer pants for water, so my soul longs after you".
I tell you when we get to that place every other thing becomes unimportant and secondary. The satisfaction from "things" pale in comparison to the glory which comes from being in the presence of God.
You've got to have a made up mind and heart to keep him "in focus"
One will only but be shaken by all that is happening in the world if we make these things our focus.
One can be so easily distracted by the "troubles" all around, but I tell you it IS possible to stay connected to God. Especially at those times when I feel the most troubled it seems to drive me to seek God more. When he seems to be silent (he does that sometimes to stretch and test us) I press in even more.
It is just amazing, that this awesome God should draw us so close, renew, restore and bless us in such measure and all he requires is we seek him first above all else. Amen
Lord I pray you will give us such an uncommon zeal and thirsting after you. I pray that you would remove any dross or distraction that would prevent intimacy with you. We make you our first priority as you deserve our best. May you give us deep revelation of you and cause us to have divine encounters with you
In Jesus name
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
