Fear not I am with thee.

For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.

Job 3:25.

With the invasion of Ukraine by Russia many on social media and the news are expressing fear of escalation into a third world war.

Psychologists believe the Fear of the Unknown (FOTU) may be the fundamental fear underlying all anxiety, the one fear that rules the rest. It’s difficult to maintain normality when things hang in the balance—while you’re waiting to see how an intense situation will turn out. These are some of life’s hardest moments. A loved one in danger. A spouse in the ICU. A son in rehab. A daughter missing curfew. A business struggling to survive. War between the east and the west What will happen?

Mark 4: 35 – 41

Job said, “What I always feared has happened to me” (Job 3:25, TLB).

But Job’s story was far from over. In Job 38, the Lord spoke to Job out of a whirlwind, urging him to consider the power of Him who made the animals, who controls the winds, who guides the birds through the pathless air, and who holds the seas in His outstretched hand.

When fear of the unknown grips our emotions, we have a reliable and unfailing Source of courage and faith. The Master of the oceans, earth, and sky is greater, stronger, and higher than anything and everything that concerns us. Trust Him he controls our tomorrow.

Don't allow the current news, views and opinions from the media to fuel you fear.

God will never allow man to destroy his creation!

"Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end." Ephesians 3:21

With the power of God within us, we need never fear the powers around us.
