Proverbs 28:20 – “A faithful man will abound with blessings.”
Abound is defined as, “To occur or exist in great quantities or numbers; to be rich or well supplied; to be filled.” When we are faithful, we will be rich, well supplied, and filled with God’s blessings in more ways than we can imagine. What an incentive to be faithful!
But what is Faithfulness?
In these times can we truly say we never wrestled with doubt, fear or unbelief?
We will wrestle, but faith abounds, continues and overrides any other state of mind and heart if we are in a love relationship with God.
Faith continues.............
Even when all seems lost or it looks the darkest.
It's as if we become transformed when we get into God’s presence through prayer.
Faith is a characteristic of the very nature of God
Hebrews 11
1 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the [a]men of old gained [divine] approval.
3 By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
So to develop faith
1 We should spend time in God's presence for when we get intimate with God, it is impossible to remain unchanged ....our faith will definitely grow
2 We should spend time in the study of God’s word. Our mind will become renewed as we find answers through God's promises. This is not a religious format where one solution works for anyone, but out of relationship comes revelation. Revelation is simply God’s word coming alive for you and your particular situation
Heavenly Father
We ask you to impart the measure of faith we need for this particular season and to enable us complete our assignment.
In Jesus name
Amen
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
