"To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary.
To one without faith, no explanation is possible."
Thomas Aquinas

With the rapid growth and expansion of information technology one can easily conclude that never before in human history has mankind developed so swiftly and efficiently. We are at the beginning of a Fourth Industrial Revolution, a new era that extends way beyond the first, second and third era of rapid human development.
With all this happening mankind is becoming less faithful to beliefs and more trusting in self made devices. Jesus asked the question, "when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” ((Luke 18:8) The answer is, no! selfishness will inoculate humanity, self-indulgence and arrogance, rejection of the past foundational teaching of Jesus Christ will be replaced by the "god" of science and pride in the inventions of modern technologies all this is self-glorification. All glory belongs to God alone.
Secularism is growing to reject and neglect the Supernatural commonly associated with traditional religion, but the writer of Hebrews points to faith in God as an essential component of accessing God. "For without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11: 6)
True Christian beliefs are grounded in faith and in Jesus Christ as the central glory of our deliverance and redemption. Reasoning and empirical evidence is not compatible with faith.
"Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” Apostle Thomas, (John 20:25)
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart(Jeremiah 29:13).
Through faith and trusting God he will make himself known.
I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me (Proverbs 8:17). With prayers and fasting God is accessible.
Make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge. (2 Peter 1:5)
Good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. (Hebrews 4:2)
Faith is the belief in the truth of something that does not require any evidence and may not be provable by any scientific, empirical or rational means.
"Faith comes after reason and then faith allows reason to grow. Faith enables a believer to understand further truths that could not be discovered through reason alone. Reason may enable all humans to know science, but only faith informs us of the ultimate end, goal, purpose, and plan for science."
Augustine of Hippo,
354 AD-430 AD
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you unless, of course, you fail the test?
