Faith a by-product of God’s love for us

Writer's picture: Pastor JPastor J

When we experience God's love, (because his love drew us first to him), then we definitely begin to walk in faith which is a characteristic of the very nature of God.

Hebrews 11

1 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the [a]men of old gained [divine] approval.

By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

We are inputed with this faith out of relationship with God, we do not see God, but we know him and know he is real.

It is truly impossible to please him without faith, because simply put we have moved away from his presence when we no longer have faith, but we are controlled by FEAR.

May we continue in FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE.

Here is a beautiful quote by one of my favourite authors Charles Spurgeon

"FAITH goes up the stairs that

LOVE has built

and looks out the window that

HOPE has built"

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again

Pastor J
