Exhibiting the Fullness of God
I often wonder if we Christians are exhibiting the fullness of God. When I read some of the stories in the Bible I wonder if we are underachieving. Are we exhibiting the fullness of God?
The Bible has me so fascinated with the book of Daniel. As it speaks of the four Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and Daniel. The book placed their faith, humility, dedication and love for God on full display. This led me to question myself, am I exhibiting the fullness of God?
Daniel 2 speaks of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, how it troubled his spirit and his inability to sleep, ver. 1. This caused him to send for all the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers and Chaldeans. News got around that the King ordered all the wise men to be destroyed because they were not able to tell him the dream and its interpretation. Daniel made this known to his 3 friends that they should desire mercies of the God of Heaven concerning the dream, ver. 17-18.
The dream and interpretation were revealed to Daniel and their lives was spared by the King. Our God is even able to reveal someone else’s dream and its interpretation to us. I declare to you today Isaiah 8:18, “behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and wonders ….” Are we exhibiting the fullness of God?
