Rejoice Always
Could God's word really have said that
Rejoice even in hardship trials and tribulations
1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 AMP
16 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
When we take the other verses in the passage into context, we realise why we should rejoice ....because God could intervene today, right here, right now IF he chose to.
So if God allows some things in our lives, then we are assured he will turn them into something beautiful or favourable in his time. He will be glorified in all.
Let us cross reference with these verses:
James 1:2 - 4
2 Consider it nothing but joy, my [b]brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. 3 Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.
May our faith be perfected even as we walk through "various trials" in the name of Jesus
Amen
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
