Good morning dearly Beloved
All of us are waiting on something right now
And I tell you the flesh can be paining you while you're waiting.
Why?
Because during the waiting season it usually is a season of brokenness and humbling and though you're doing everything God asks, he still says wait
The human mind just cannot wrap itself around the questions that arise
The why, the when the how God
Have you forgotten me Lord?
The enemy too may whisper to cast doubt, fear and unbelief
Let us trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding
The only way to wait is not just to wait on God but to wait IN HIM
That is the place where you have to depend on him for strength for grace for the very breathe you breath
When we surrender and lift our hands and just say "Yes Lord, I will wait on you" that state of waiting in God automatically becomes a place of living moving and breathing in him
Surrender doesnt mean giving up it means trusting Gods plan and his timing in spite of all that surrounds us AND continuing to trust him though we may have been waiting a very long time.
Dear friends
In due season you will!
You will! You will reap! IF - if you do not faint!
(Galatians 6)
Joseph in the prison must have thought God had forgotten him
Some theologians summarize it was 12 years and some say it was 13 years after he was sold by his brothers and then came to stand before Pharoah
Nonetheless Joseph never departed from God's ways
And God favoured him while he was in the prison
Now I was thinking about this so much why didn't God just take him out of the prison
But instead he gave him favour
And continued to promote him?
God worked through Joseph's circumstances (it took time) until he was in the right position the right place at the right time and ready to give God all the glory.
Perhaps dear friends if he had been released before he would not have had direct contact with Pharoah himself
God has your set apointed time of favour
Your set season of promotion
Your set time for your miracle and for you to receive your promise
So run the race with grace - God’s grace, you will finish well in the name of Jesus!
While you wait
Remember God is preparing you for something great big and magnaminous
Imagine this Jesus knew his assignment,
He knew he would be crucified and was prepared all of 30 years for a 3 year ministry.
A ministry that is unmatchable!
Just wow 30 years!
God does make all things beautiful in his time.
Use the storms during the waiting season to get to the next level in God. Let us be like the eagle and rise to the level above the storm (with the opposing winds)
Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Amen
Listen to my message below it will bless you
I pray grace and strength for you while you wait
Don't give up, your breakthrough is just ahead
Worship while you wait
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
Pastor J
