Scripture for the day : Luke 18:1
[1]One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.
MESSAGE FOR THE DAY; The ministry of prayer is for everyone. It is not exclusive to pastors or ministers, it is for every believer.* Our text says Jesus told a parable to show that they should always pray and not give up.
Don't give up on prayer. Prayer is still our channel of communication with God and God is committed to hearing us.* Do not TRIVIALIZE prayers. Jesus told them a parable to illustrate the need for constant prayer. *Prayer should not be an emergency ward that we only go to in times of emergency but should be like the food we eat daily. It is an error to walk into a day you have not prayed into.* Prayer is both a seed and an investment, some of the prayers you pray today will go a long way to speak for you tomorrow. Do not give up on prayer.*
To not pray is to live in pride. To not pray is to not need the help of God.* Prayer is also a revelation of our dependence on God for grace. *We don't pray with arrogance like the Pharisees but with humility at heart knowing that it is a privilege to have the audience of God.* Don't give up on prayer. *That you prayed and nothing happened doesn't mean nothing is happening.* Scriptures says pray without ceasing.
THINGS YOU NEED TO DO;
Iif you have prayed about it before, pray about it again. Never get tired committing your ways to God. Don't let your busy schedule kill your prayer altar.* If you don't know how to pray, get acquainted with brethren praying and soon you will contact the fire. *When we pray, we prevail, when we pray, we triumph. Don't give up on prayer!*
