Good morning my friends
Remember Don't give up!
Never quit!
The closer you are to breakthrough is usually the point at which pressure intensifies and the warfare increases. Keep going - endure into the promise!
At the crossover threshold, the battle intensifies and I have proved this principle that when we endure, persevere and persist - we inherit the promise ....it was actually just on the other side of those "rough seas"
Why could this be?
When we are in right standing, it is only a matter of time before God answers our prayer. It is beyond what we could see - hold on (to God) press in. We will encounter opposition from the enemy at "breakthrough point"
What could stop or hinder the answer to our prayers?
It could be one of two things:
In the account of Daniel 10 God answered Daniel's prayer on Day 1 but the Prince of Persia (a demonic heirachy) had delayed Daniel's answer for 21 days.
2. It could possibly be our own responses.
The enemy has no power in our lives, but what we speak out of our mouths can either activate or deactivate God's plan. We either agree with the Kingdom of darkness or the Kingdom of light with the words we speak. Angels or demons will be activated by our speaking.
Death or life lies in the power of the tongue
Proverbs 18:20/21
20
A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth;
He will be satisfied with the consequence of his words.
21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words
I pray for you to have the grace and strength to endure into your promise.
You may be experiencing discomfort now, but that place of discomfort, should only spur us into fasting, prayer and interceding more intensely.
We will not fail. Truly choose to rest and remain in God's peace.
Jesus was able to sleep while a storm raged at sea and imagine while he was on a boat. He was not at all on safe ground but certainly in "uncertain" waters. The disciples were in turmoil and his response to them was "Oh yee of little faith"
Matthew 8
23 When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping. 25 And the disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us, we are going to die!” 26 He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was [at once] a great and wonderful calm [a perfect peacefulness]. 27 The men wondered in amazement, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
May we be able to rest in the storm! This way - we will remain connected to God and therefore be the instrument that God will use to speak to the storms, manifesting his power
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again Pastor J
