So what does it mean to Delight ourselves in the Lord?
True delight in Him causes us to take our sights off of what we want in order to long for what He desires.
We exalt him so high above all else that our
Fleshly desires will even begin to reflect his perfect will and desire for us.
If it is his will for us we can just rejoice knowing that he is well able to perfect all that concerns us. We can praise him even while we wait and even in the worst of times we can still bring him the sacrifice of praise.
Our good Father will give us good gifts and every good gift in our life comes from him.
Why not try it today?
Instead of complaining
Instead of giving in to fear and anxiety
Just praise him, delight yourself in him and before you know it those things you desired have become yours
Amen
