Creation vs Science.(Genesis 1 & 2)
It is imperative that every reader of the creation story in Genesis comprehend that the writer’s aim is to convey man’s spiritual history and his connection with God, rather than describing the detailed process of creation and the origins of the universe.
As a matter of fact It was never the objective of the writers of Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation to impart scientific instruction or to enlarge the boundary of our scientific community.
The bible doesn't give lectures on the birth of supernovas, pulsars, black holes, nebula, dark matter along with quantum physics within the universe, instead, the writer of Genesis intentions are to explain man’s relationship To God And God’s relationship to man within his creation.
The Bible overall is a spiritual map of the fall of mankind and God's love and sacrifice to restore man, and his creation, back to the original glory. "For without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
(1 Timothy 3:16)
Currently secular science says the universe began with an explosion, the Big Bang. Starting from extremely high density and temperature, space expanded, the universe cooled, and the simplest elements formed. Gravity gradually drew matter together to form the first stars and the first galaxies.
This is questionable as the methods of scientific data gathering are by way of, "observable science." No man was there at the beginning of creation when God spoke therefore scientists are only speculating.
In the early centuries of scientific theories and hypotheses scientist intentions were to use science to compliment God's wonderful creation. "Instead of disproving God and working against Him, science compliments God and works to reveal the majesty of His creation." (Alan R. Adaschik ·100 Years of Deception)
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world." (Psalm 19:1-4 NIV)
Fast forward today the original intentions of science and the exploration of God's wonders have been hijacked and derailed to accommodate man-made ideology.
In conclusion, while The subject of creation within the Genesis account of the beginning of the universe and man's existence upon earth, are important, it must not be interpreted solely from a scientific point, but as a moral and spiritual concept.
