I am content now with the portion I have received till our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ returns, then I will be complete in him.
1 Corinthians 13:9-12 says,
"For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
There are many things that the Holy Bible didn't mention or explain or go in detail to clarify. Scripture reminds us that, "Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written" (John 21:25).
What is important is the message that God wanted us to learn. This broken and temporary world, along with imperfect people, will eventually be judged, changed the righteous to everlasting peace and the wicked to everlasting contempt.
Yes, knowledge and travel have increased on the earth, however, it is still a broken world and with all the inovantions and technological advancements we cannot save ourselves or fix the problems on our own.
Only when Jesus Christ returns he will fix the problems and bring order to chaos.
John chapter fourteen reminds us that Jesus is gone to prepare a place for us.
Only God has the solutions for our world and only God knows the mysteries of the universe knows.
Let's remember, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law" (Deuteronomy 29:29).
So in conclusion, all our hope should be in Jesus Christ, not in any governments, not in technology and not in any man.
