Good day Beloved
I was watching this episode on Instagram on the study of Quantum physics, the speaker's theory was that atoms are interconnected, so when one atom "experiences" something then the others will respond accordingly.
I am by no means a scientist or scientifically minded (though in high school Biology was my best subject) so I cannot prove or disprove his theory. I would have loved to share the link, but can't seem to find it. The gentleman was speaking about answers to prayer. His belief is when we begin to thank God for answering our prayer request....it will produce a result.
As I finished watching though it became so clear - God didn't tell us to Ask only, he told us to ask and you shall receive (Matthew 7:7/8).
We're good at asking but after we ask we should position ourselves to receive.
Positioning ourselves mean we begin to thank him for the answer to our prayers.
I will however not use this terminology of "asking and receiving" in relation to just asking for anything. As we grow in God we will grow in intimacy with him, taking on his very character and nature as we become more Christlike. So the assumption is since the word "occupies" our heart, we would ask aligned to God’s perfect will as defined by his word.
Amen
Now what could be a possible blocker to us receiving the answer?
Our asking could be clouded with or overtaken by WHY/WHY ME LORD?
Tell you the truth my friends we all will ask those questions at one point or another. But if we remain in that place, we should be honest with ourselves to admit we have moved into fear, doubt unbelief, even self-pity and the next level after that would be the "victim mentality"
We have moved away from the place of totally trusting God.
If we ask God to help us he will.
Let us ask him today to restore our faith, hope and trust in him.
Lord I ask you to give everyone the assurance they need and also to give insight, foresight and vision for all ahead.
Please remember that all we face today is temporary and transcient, it definitely won't last forever
AND anything God allows in our life is working for a far greater purpose - for ALL things (not some, all things) are definitely working for our good and God’s glory because we love God and we are the called according to his purpose
Amen
I pray restoration for you in Jesus name
Psalm 90:10 - 17
10 The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,
Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knows the power of Your anger?
For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 Return, O Lord!
How long?
And have compassion on Your servants.
14 Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
15 Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
16 Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.
17 And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Yes may God make us glad according to the days we have been afflicted
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
