Christ tells the disciples that he goes, so that another can come - the Holy Spirit can come. The Holy Spirit our Paracletos, Teacher, Helper, Comforter, Advocate and so much more.
We will never understand the dynamics of how God works
but we know for sure, that because of the finished work at Calvary, The Resurrection of Christ and the manifestation of God's power on the day of Pentecost we live in a dispensation where we can be filled with the holy spirit and therefore manifest God's power here on earth.
Indeed we walk in the dispensation of "Greater Works" and the realm of Miracles, Signs and Wonders following us because we believe.
For those needing to be filled with the Holy Spirit just ask God and position yourselves to receive, God wants to give you the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 11:9 to 13
9 “So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.10 For everyone who[h]keeps on asking[persistently],receives; and he who keeps on seeking[persistently],finds; and to him who keeps on knocking[persistently],the door will be opened.11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish?12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?13 If you, then, being evil[that is, sinful by nature],know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”
For those of us already filled, continue to "fan the flames" and "keep the lamps burning"
I pray that each day we will manifest God's power with fresh new fire
