Available – God’s Availability
It took me a while to get started with this message today, as I reflected on the topic God’s availability. I contrasted this thought with the thought of me being available to anyone I love or is in love with.
The basic definition of available is; being able to be used or obtained or being at someone’s disposal; beck and call. I questioned myself, “am I willing to adjust my schedule, my agenda or my plans to fit the desires of others? Am I willing to make my priorities secondary to the needs of others?” I had to ask myself, are you always available?
God showed His availability to us through this statement to His disciples in Matthew 28:20, “…. and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” This speaks of God’s divinity, God’s ability and availability to be with us throughout our entire life and through every adversity. Psalm 139:2, “thou knowest my downsitting and mine upraising, thou understandest my thought afar off.” God is omnipresence.
Proverbs 15:3, “the eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good.” Saints, I have been going through some tough times but our God saw it fit to tell me “He is available to me”. “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in His pavilion in the secret of the tabernacle shall He hide me: He shall set me upon a rock,” Psalm 27:5. When the rough times surfaces, God says I am available.
God Bless.
My Brother as believers in Christ we know that throughout our crisis we can look to the hills because the Maker of Heaven and earth will Always be there to lift us. May you continue to look at Him and steadfastly leak upon Him through all tribulations. I know the feelings because I grapple with a litany of burdens but I am also been constantly reminded that He have always heard my cry and come to my rescue and for that I beg Him forgiveness for each past transgressions and Thank Him wholeheartedly for His perpetual Grace. Let's keep each other in fervent prayers my brother. Each dawn reminds us that there is always hope through Christ.
God Bless!
