If one has to do a great work for God, there will be opposition.
How do we deal with this?
Some of the deepest wounds can be from close friends or even Church leaders
It is all part of the process and remember God will turn ALL our experiences around for his glory.
Before God can have his way, we have got to surrender every issue to him.
He will not move in our circumstances until we let go.
When we think of the greater picture then we can let go and let God!
Our responsibility when wounded is to forgive and go to God for healing
Look at how Jesus Christ dealt with scourging, rejection and betrayal.
As our roots grow deep in God then the external things will not affect us so deeply -
offences, wounds and any hurtful, painful thing.
Ask God to guard our heart and he will undergird us in every trial or situation.
I guarantee that when we keep God as our focus and abide in his presence then everything else becomes secondary.
Many of those painful experiences will truly teach us lessons and grow us in wisdom
So the next time you are confronted with opposition, stand your ground, listen to God carefully - could it be a test in humility from God. Forgive, shake it off, let it go, go to God for healing and move forward - confident in your place in God.
May God heal you of every disappointment and wound today
May he restore your soul in Jesus name. Amen
