A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Joy and hope in the middle of the storm your words are life and victory. Though the lightning flashes and the thunder rolls steady our soul in deep waters you will never let us sink or drown, our anchor holds to your solid rock, God your blessings and assurances are ever present. Our feet will not slip or slide. You have instructed your angel to bear us up lest we dash our feet against a stone. So much talking and opinions from many voices but God you are not in the noise, give me blinkers, Father God to see only Jesus and the many blessings and promises that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord your eternal words are encouragement to the weary soul, with leaders failing and governments creating fear and uncertainty, open the eyes of your chosen bride to see clearly the deception and wickedness. Lord you are the everlasting arms and our strong tower of refuge. May we ever dwell in the secret place of the most High God. Thank you Father for your Holy Spirit, you are indeed a Comforter to our soul in a world of chaos and confusion. Thank you for reminding us that you will be with us til the end.
