I love you Lord, for Your mercy never fails me, all my days I’ve been held in Your hands. From the moment that I wake up, until I lay my head, oh I will sing of the goodness of God. Psalm 31:1&3, “in thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me into thy righteousness. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.”
I had to take a step back, as I became so bombarded with the things of this world. Bombarded with all the negative news that fills the air. Turn on the television or the radio it’s all about the virus, the vaccine, Afghanistan. Cost of living has gone up tremendously, the rich still getting richer and the poor poorer, but God.
As I took this step back, I fell into a trance, focusing on the things God has brought me through. I couldn’t help but to say, I Love You Lord. Make no mistake, my love for our Lord is no comparison to the love He has for me. The scripture in John 15:13 says, “greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down His life for His friends.” 1 John 4:19, “we love Him because He first loved us.”
I love you Lord because you saved me out of darkness and planted my feet on a rock. I love you because You said, You will never leave or forsake me and You will provide for me, You said I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I love Lord! You have given me great gifts, a family, immediate and spiritual and You have showered me with Love in both. You told me I am an heir to your Kingdom and my name is written in the Lamb’s book of life, thank You Lord.
“O love the Lord, all ye His saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord,” Psalm 31:23-24.
God Bless.
