A Biblical perspective on Transhumanism by Marcel & Jacqueline Bruff

In February of 2021, I wrote a blog on transhumanism and the diabolical consequences it would have on humanity. Today I would like to reflect on this same topic today.

A couple weeks back, press conferences were being held with a company making plans in the development of brain computer interfaces (BCI) with hopes that it will be able to help cure neurological diseases such as memory loss, hearing loss, depression, and insomnia—which are noble desires—as well as it will potentially enhance healthy human beings with abilities ranging from typing with your thoughts, hailing a self-driving car, or even extending your memory. It was also announced that the device had received “breakthrough device status” from the FDA, which it hopes will speed up trials on humans.

Scientists are focusing on the question of “Can this be done?” rather than “Should it be done?”, lacking deep moral and ethical reflection on the dangers of this type of technology and the unforeseen consequences.

In today's world, the attitude of who will be the first to go beyond that which mankind has never gone before, is one of the main reasons for this speedy behaviour.

"Technology is a close cousin to sorcery" Chuck Missler.

"Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions." Psalm 106:39.

We cannot trust in the arm of flesh, man made devices are a double edged sword. Remember we have knowledge of both good and evil.

Tampering with the engine of creation will ultimately lead to serious mutations, side effects and consequences that are likened unto opening up pandora's box and will affect all humanity.

In his video Chuck Missler explains the age of hybrids giving 4 keys areas. These are, genetics and microbiology, robotics, nanotechnology, and

artificial intelligence. This science will combine to aquire human 2.0, an abomination to the beauty of God's crown creation.

Transhumanism is a desire to remove humanity from the “natural order of God's creation.” To go beyond bodily limitations and overcome mortality and extend the lifespan of humans beyond what God intended.

Nephilim, giants, Ai and transhuman beings can defeat us again and again—because we face them in our own strength and we lose. We need to realize this is the Lord's battle.

David told Goliath, "This is the Lord's battle, and he will give you to us!" (1 Samuel 17:47).

To those who sees nothing wrong with technology and mankind achievements in advancing transhuman or Ai.

May I remind you, humans are created in the image and likeness of God, with an eternal soul.

Altering human DNA is an abomination in the sight of almighty Creator.

Therefore transhumanism is wrong.
